Reference project in Lastrup: new farrowing barn at Hof Wilken
Another reference project has been completed in Lastrup, in the Oldenburger Münsterland region of Germany: Hof Wilken has built a new farrowing barn. The farm is a customer of our partners Ewering and JYGA as well as of MOORMANN Consulting & Commerce GmbH.
The technology in the barn
Feeding in the new barn is handled by JYGA technology. It is complemented by a scraper manure removal system, a bedding system and free-movement pens that give the sows more room to move. The barn shows how feeding, manure removal and pen design work together in practice.

JYGA Technologies from Canada has been developing feeding and farrowing technology for more than 30 years. In Germany, the official dealer Ewering sells and installs the JYGA solutions. MOORMANN Consulting & Commerce supports the projects together with both partners.
Open day on 22 September 2026
On Tuesday, 22 September 2026, Hof Wilken opened its barn doors from 3 pm. Everyone with an interest in farming was invited. Visitors were able to tour the new farrowing barn and take a close look at the feeding, manure removal, bedding system and free-movement pens.
